Man taken to hospital after stabbing at Vincent Apartments in Syracuse, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. -- A man sustained multiple injuries after he was stabbed in Syracuse Sunday night, police said.

Around 9:03 p.m., officers responded to 109 Smith Lane for a reported stabbing, according to Syracuse police spokesperson Lt. Matthew Malinowski.

On scene, police found a man in his 30′s who was stabbed in the butt and legs, Malinowski said. The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he is expected to survive.

Eight police vehicles, a crime scene van and American Medical Response were on scene.

Syracuse police ask anyone with information about the shootings to call them at (315) 442-5222.
